Picou's Fine Art was born of a dream to awaken and engage a new urban generation in the rich tradition of African American and Emergent Fine Art as an investment. Our pieces display the powerful, creative visions of the artists and evoke the deepest emotions of the beholders.

I am Cathy Picou, and art is my passion. Growing up in New Orleans, Louisiana, I have been immersed in a rich artistic heritage since childhood. As an adult, my love for art came alive during a visit to a friend's gallery. After traveling around the world and residing on both the East and West Coasts of the United States, I have been amazed by the richness and variety of African-American as well as emerging artistic expressions. Picou's Fine Art seeks to build a bridge between East and West Coast artists and collectors while making artistic renderings, art information, and design services available to all who are passionate about beauty.
